Registration

Registration is required to post new topics or reply to existing topics on our message board. We do recommend that you register in order to secure your desired user name. Registration is free, and you are not required to post your real name. You are required to register your actual e-mail address, however. This information is necessary to send you information about the Forums or to retrieve a lost password. You are under no obligation, though, to make your e-mail address visible in your profile.

Cookies

These Forums use cookies to store your username and password when you log in. These cookies are stored on your browser. Cookies are not used to track your movement or perform any function other than to enhance your use of the Forums. If your browser does not support cookies, or you have not enabled cookies on your browser, many of these time-saving features will not work properly.

E Mail Addresses

It is a good idea NOT to post your E mail address, or the address of others in these Forums. Many spammers use automated programs (or 'bots) to scan forum boards and other web sites for E mail addresses. These exposed Email addresses are then "harvested" and used for spam campaigns. If you want to post an E mail address, we recommend you type it using the following format including spaces and non-recognizable characters instead of the @ symbol:

Your Personal Information

Please note that information you furnished when your registered for these Forums, including your user name, password and e mail address, the publicly available information in your profile, and any other basic information necessary for the supervision and maintenance of these boards, such as IP addresses and the date and time of your visit, is available solely to the Forum Administrator. For increased security, please do not select a password that you do not wish to reveal to anyone, such as using yout credit card PIN number for example.

Forum Administrators do have the ability to view your IP address if you post messages on these Forums.

And, of course, our Forums collect the information that you choose to provide when you make a post on one of our Forums so that we can archive and display your posts. Please use caution when posting material on any Forum as your posts become immediately available to the public and may be recorded and stored by anyone.

The Forum Administrator does not make your personal information available to others for any other purpose, unless ordered to do so by a Court of Law or Government Authority such as the FBI or CIA.

Use of Private Message System

The Private Messaging feature allows members to send a message to another member on the board. The Private Message system may not be used to harass, stalk another member, or conduct illegal activities. Messages sent using the Private Message System are subject to monitoring by the site administrators. Your continued use of the Private Message system acknowledges your understanding that these messages may be monitored.

Special Note on Personal Profiles

After you register for these Forums, you are able to create a personal profile with information that you can make accessible to other Forum users. Your profile can include a variety of information, including a name, e-mail address, physical location, occupation, or other information such as a photo, listing of recent posts you have made, a personal biography, or other personal information.

Please be aware that we do not generally monitor or review the public or private information in your profile, and that the public information that you choose to provide will be publicly accessible. Please use caution when deciding on what information to include in your profile.

Changing and Deleting Your Information
